Background

Infertility is a common problem among men with neurologically impaired conditions such as spinal cord injury (SCI), Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes.  Among spinal cord injured men, more than 90% have ejaculatory failure.

In the past little could be done to treat these problems, but in recent years important advances have been made in the field of reproductive medicine that are directly benefiting men with neurological impairments.  One of these developments has been the application of a technique called "electroejaculation", which electrically stimulates nerves causing ejaculation.
